Silly Boxer Reya digging for her toy!

Reya managed to slip her toy underneath our persian rug and my wife aparantly cheered her on as she dug, clawed and pounced to get to her toy! She is the funniest boxer, she does something crazy almost daily. Enjoy the video my wife took of her.

 It took only  handful of times till I got her attention to take this picture. She hates taking pictures and she knows when they  are being taken of her. Also she gets really furious  when the camera flashes, and gives you a real mean look. But I don't mind, because I love her  and she can give me any look she wants ;)

My boxer and I sleeping in on a  lazy Sunday afternoon, and It just so happened that I fell asleep right under her soft floppy ears :) One of my favorite pictures!

Here is Reya in the back seat just chillin with her Lady Bug friend. By the way she is terrified of driving in the car, probably because she thinks we are going to the Vet. She is such a girly girl, always so proper :)

3 Things I Love About Boxer Dogs

Boxers are a special kind of breed. They make us laugh, they make us smile and they are our best friends. There are a million things that I love about my Boxer Reya but here are my 3 favorite traits about Boxer Dogs.

1. Boxers are very effectionate and extremely emotional: Those of you that own boxers know this to be the absolute truth! Boxers are always following you around like cats and hang on to every emotion that you go through or display, ready to start liking you on command. 
2.  They are funny and silly: A day never goes by that my Boxer Reya doesn't do something that makes me laugh hysterically :) They have a way about them that just makes you smile when you watch them play. It's also amusing how they box with their front paws ! Boxer love to steal random stuff too so don't leave any socks or t-shirts hanging out of your drawers because they will take them and then you are stuck chasing them around the house trying to get it back.
3. Boxers are absolutely loyal and are blindly devoted to every member of your family: Reya loves to protect the house by always being on the lookout for strangers passing by and letting them know that she is ready to protect her family from danger if the need arises! She is super sensitive with small kids and is extra vigilant and cautious around strangers. And last but certainly not least, she is always there for me when I am sick and never leaves my bedside. She is so funny how she  guards my bed one minute and the next cuddles her head right on my chest. She is the true definition of "My Best Friend".

Hi everybody! I wanted to start this blog to start sharing my absolute obsession with my Boxer dog Reya! My girlfriend and I are constantly taking pictures, videos and we never shut up about her to our friends. It has gotten to a point that people are a little freaked out that we always talk about her......so instead of yapping in their ears all the time we are going to share our stories with all of you guys out there who are Boxer dog crazy like we are :)
